2nd bird down... tagged out in NY.

Called in this nice 8" long beard using my Scott Witter box call and one of my own DK trumpet calls. This fine bird closes out my Spring season... Lots of good eating and fly tying materials for the future.

  1. Congrats Doug.
It's quiet an accomplishment to take a spring gobbler and to take two is certainly one feat that go's over the top.

    1. Stay after them Ralph.... hunting was slow for us with very little gobbling.... It just-so-happened that the birds I ran into were willing to play.... Best Luck.
