Bubble Back Nymph...

Here's an oldie of mine..... it works well in the early spring here in NY when the stone flies are coming off. I use this fly as a dropper about 14-16 inches back. The bubble gives it some action as it bobs and weaves in the current. Give it a go...

Hook: Nymph 14-18
Thread: 8/0 Uni
Tail: Krystal Flash
Body: Pheasant tail
Thorax: Hares ear and flash mixed dubbing
Wing case: Bubble packing
